Put lemon and baking soda in a glass and place it in a room you frequent

If your home sometimes feels stuffy or carries lingering odors from cooking, humidity, or even pets, there’s a simple natural solution you can try. Forget expensive sprays filled with chemicals—this easy trick uses just two common ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen: lemon and baking soda.

✨ Why Lemon & Baking Soda Work So Well

Lemon: Fresh lemon slices release a clean, citrusy aroma that instantly brightens any room. The natural oils in lemon act as a deodorizer, breaking down bad smells instead of just covering them.
Baking soda: Known as a natural odor absorber, baking soda neutralizes unwanted odors in the air. Instead of masking smells, it traps and eliminates them.

When combined, lemon and baking soda create a natural “air freshener” that keeps your room fresh for days.

🥄 What You’ll Need

1 clean glass or small bowl
2–3 tablespoons of baking soda
1 fresh lemon (sliced into wedges or rounds)
Optional: a few drops of essential oil (lavender, eucalyptus, or mint) for extra fragrance
